Need help in Arc-length control method in nonlinear analysis with unloading scheme of a cantilever beam.

Dear all,
I have to make a nonlinear analysis of a cantilever beam with both horizontal and vertical load at free-end. The results of relations between vertical and horizontal displacement of free end are expected as shown in sample.pdf.
I have used load step increment with iteration based adapting with Arc-length control. However I did not get the results like figure shown in file sample pdf.

I need to modify filos command to make unloading scheme ( use snap-back behavior) in load steps. I tried to do it in long time, but I have gotten rigth results yet.
Could someone known about Arc-length control tell me what I should modify in filos file (filos.dcf) to get accuracy results. I have attached my input file, filos file and sample.pdf in attachment, please look at it.
Hope someone can help me. I would like to thank you in advance.
Yours Sincerely,
Khuyen Trong Hoang

I haven't taken a look into the FILOS file but maybe I can help with the following suggestion.

I suspect that you may have initated the arc length method in the first stage.  It should be employed in subsequent stage and ensure that whatever DIANA uses to flag a time marching function is also employed as well.
Note, the first stage should be set to 1.
Please send me your feed back if this worked or not.

Cheers

Dear Rpak,
I successfully did it few weeks ago :D. I combined arc-length control with automate step size.
In fact I do not understand your suggestion. Is it about the load factor in step 1?
Anyway, thank you so much :D.
Cheers,
Khuyen.
