I am analysing a plain concrete pavement overlay on asphalt concrete pavement.
I am basically trying to get the effect of interface between plain concrete and asphalt concrete on strains and deformations of the structure.
The linear 2D analysis is being used.
The loads are self weight and temperature loading.
There will be different temperatures at top, middle, bottom of the concrete slab.
How do I give the temperature loading?
For example, if the temperature at the top is 60F, the gradient through the depth would be 2F. It will also be different at different times.

You can add a gradient to the temperature loading and also add a table 'TEMPER' to make the load vary with time.
