Springs

Hi
I am trying to specify a spring with loading and unloading stiffness. I followed exactly the manual Material Library section 9.1 page 132. But When i use the commands below i get an abort message (the spring the stiffness is not specified".

You help is appreciated as the command NUMSPR does not figure out in any of Diana examples

I found an example in the DIANA test suite. You can access this using the Dtest program.

  • Start Dtest.
  • Select Filter...
  • Keyword category: Elements

In the list presented you will find test /Test/nl/nlel/sprurl. Click view and you will see the files. Select Contents: Datafile. There you will see a working example.
