Since the introduction of DIANA in the early 1970s, it has been our prime focus to enable our clients to solve the most complex engineering problems and by doing that become experts in their engineering field.
TNO DIANA BV was established in 2003 from the Computational Mechanics department of TNO's Building and Construction Research Institute. Our core expertise is Numerical Analysis applied to Civil and Geotechnical engineering. Analysis of Concrete, Composite and Masonry Structures and the interaction between these Structures and the Soil have become our specialist areas. DIANA is our flagship product.

TNO DIANA BV exists of a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers, mathematicians and software developers and has offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.

DIANA has established an international reputation for providing the highest standard of analysis capabilities. DIANA offers a wide range of analysis functionality and the possibility to solve complex engineering problems. For more than 15 years over 250 Universities and Research Institutes worldwide have been using DIANA to test innovative ways of engineering or to solve complex and challenging problems. This has created a valuable database of scientific papers and articles which has been a constant source of new developments in DIANA but is also accessible for our users.

DIANA is used regularly by Expert Engineers within Engineering Consulting Companies across the globe. Organizations such as Taisei Corporation, DHV, Halcrow Group, Kawasaki Steel, Lafarge Brass, Shell, Halliburton, Sumitomo Construction are all part of a worldwide DIANA User Community benefiting from the expert functionalities of DIANA.

In December 2005 TNO DIANA entered a partnership with Midas IT and extended our product portfolio with application oriented, state of the art software for the engineering community. Together with Midas IT we also develop new products by combining the strengths of both companies.
